How long will my project take? Most smaller jobs can be done in one day. And most larger jobs are completed within two weeks.
Do you do work outside of the Fox Valley? Yes, but travel charges may be added if your project is outside of our normal work area.
Isn't drywall installation and finishing a do-it-yourself or a handyman project? No. An attractive and stable wall requires proper placement, fastening, prefilling, taping and finishing by an experienced professional. Any mistakes made in the process can lead to cracks, nail pops, blistering, flashing and potential loss of equity. A poor drywall job is easy to spot.
Don't I have to use costly plaster in my new home? No. Less than 2% of new homes in the U.S. have plaster veneer walls. And traditional (thick coat) plaster is far more rare than today's thin coat veneer.
Will we have to move out? How messy will this be? No. Unless you are doing a major renovation, you should be able to stay home during the project. We will take steps to contain the dust, but you should expect some mess. Drywall work is inherently dusty.
Do you do custom texturing and faux finish painting? Yes. We specialize in attractive hand and spray textures. We also do a variety of multi-color paint finishing techniques.
Will you remove our old wallpaper? Yes, we remove wallpaper.
